Mudflows occurred in Osh and Batken regions of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to it, mudflows flooded from the 3rd to the 8th kilometers of Aigultash — Sogment — Tayan road on July 8. Traffic is blocked.
The mudflow drainage channel overflowed in Kara-Bulak village. An operational group from the Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Batken city was brought to the scene.
Razzakov-Andarak-Kok-Tash road and the internal road connecting Toguz-Bulak and Min-Zhygach villages were flooded due to heavy rains in Leilek district. The courtyard of a residential building was flooded in Yntymak village.
One excavator and 10 people from local authorities are involved in the elimination of consequences of the mudflows.
Mudflows occurred in five places on Uch-Korgon — Daroot-Korgon road in Osh region. The road is temporarily closed. According to preliminary information, the 70-71st kilometers of Osh-Sary-Tash-Irkeshtam road were flooded in Alai district. The site is being cleared.
