President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov took part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of State — members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Astana. The press service of the head of state reported.
The meeting was chaired by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Following the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State, the leaders signed the following documents:
1. Astana Declaration of the SCO Council of Heads of State.
2. Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of State on the approval of the initiative of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization «On world unity for a just peace and harmony.»
3. Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of State on the draft development strategy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization until 2035.
4. Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of State on proposals of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on improving the activities of the organization.
5. Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of State on completing the procedure for admitting Belarus as a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and granting it the status of a member state of the organization.
6. Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of State on shared contributions from member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in connection with the granting Belarus the status of a member state of the organization;
7. Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of State on the approval of the program of cooperation of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in countering terrorism, separatism and extremism for 2025-2027.
8. Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of State on approval of the anti-drug strategy of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization for 2024-2029 and the action program for its implementation.
