Chunkurchak jailoo will host Kymyz-Fest — 2024 Festival on July 6. The press service of the Office of Presidential Envoy to Chui region reported.
The event will start at 10 a.m. Participants and guests will listen to national melodies, try Kyrgyz cuisine and the famous drink kymyz.
Solemn traditional events are held as part of the implementation of the Presidential Decree «On the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region.»
«The festival includes a huge number of bright performances, a wide variety of kymyz and Kyrgyz dishes, folk crafts, a yurt town and one of the most colorful and exciting events — the games of Kyrgyz nomads. The festival will immerse you in culture and real life of the Kyrgyz people,» the statement says.
