Rescuers ferried 180 people across the river in Abshyr-Ata recreation area, Nookat district of Osh region. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to its data, all of them were transported to a safe place. 320 people and 20 units of engineering equipment are involved in the elimination of mudflow consequences.
The work is coordinated by Deputy Ministers of Emergency Situations of Kyrgzystan Akylbek Mazaripov and Edelbek Kulmatov.
At least 1,300 people were cut off from the outside world in Abshyr-Ata recreation area. On June 28, due to heavy rains, the road to Abshyr-Ata waterfall was washed away by a mudflow.
