Smuggling for almost 1 million soms from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan prevented

Batken Customs stopped the illegal import of fabric and clothing from Uzbekistan. The press service of the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, customs officers checked Damas DLX vehicle driven by Uzbek citizen at Kaitpas checkpoint in Batken region.

At least 43 rolls of fabric and 64 kilograms of clothing were found in the cargo compartment. The goods were transported without documents. The cost of the detained goods amounted to 974,200 soms.

The fact was registered. The collected materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office of Batken region.
