President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Khurshid Mirzahidov on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission. The press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov noted that during the diplomatic service of Khurshid Mirzahidov, significant bilateral events and visits took place at all levels, a number of important Kyrgyz-Uzbek bilateral documents were signed, and good results were achieved in the trade and economic direction. In particular, the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund has been created, the activities of which are currently carried out systematically and fruitfully, delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border has been completed, the level of bilateral relations has been raised to a comprehensive strategic partnership, and new horizons have been opened in joint industrial cooperation.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Khurshid Mirzakhidov thanked the head of state for the warm welcome and stressed the active development of Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of Sadyr Japarov in all spheres, including trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and sports areas.
At the end of the conversation, President Sadyr Japarov awarded Khurshid Mirzakhidov with a Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic for his significant contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
