School built for 67 million soms opened in Azhek village

A school built for 67 million soms was opened in Azhek village, Ala-Buka district, Jalal-Abad region. The press service of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The school is designed for 225 students. Speaker of the Parliament Nurlanbek Shakiev noted that special attention of the state is paid to the sphere of education, large projects are implemented.

«More than 200 new schools have been commissioned in recent years. In addition, teachers’ salaries are increased and the necessary support is provided. Of course, there is more to come, there is still a lot of work ahead. After all, teachers’ salaries should not be less than those of deputies and ministers. Only then we will be able to attract the best teachers to school and improve the quality of education,» he said.

Nurlanbek Shakiev presented the new school with a certificate for 300,000 soms and wished success to teachers.

Deputy Azizbek Tursunbaev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in Jalal-Abad region Absattar Syrgabaev, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev and Deputy Minister of Finance Ernst Kaldybaev accompanied the Speaker on his working trip.
