New building of Tax Service to be constructed in Kyrgyzstan

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov took part in the ceremony of laying the capsule at the construction site of a new Tax Service building. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

«The role of the tax service in the development of the state is enormous. The Tax Service is a powerful government agency that monitors compliance with tax laws and provides a significant part of state budget revenues, a source that forms the basis of the state treasury. Today we laid a capsule at the construction site of a new Tax Service building. This is another big step to new heights in the development of the tax system and strengthening the economy of our country. The pace at with which Kyrgyzstan is gaining steam is aimed at becoming a strong state,» Akylbek Japarov said.

He told that the new seven-story building will have a unique design. From a bird’s eye view, it will have the shape of the letter C, symbolizing the national currency of the Kyrgyz Republic — som and the first letter of the word «salyk». In addition, the building itself will have the form of tyiyns stacked on top of each other, which also symbolizes sustainability and stability.

The new building will house employees of the central office of the Tax Service, analytical and situational centers, a data center and the Service Center for Entrepreneurs.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers instructed to carry out construction work efficiently and on time, adding that the new building of the Tax Service would become a symbol of common achievements and aspirations for a bright future.
