Suzak resident makes tunnel under his house for smuggling

An underground tunnel for smuggling of goods was discovered in Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

The tunnel was discovered in the house of a resident of Bek-Abad village near the border with Uzbekistan.

«The depth of the tunnel is 15 meters, the total length is 130 meters, the height is 1.7 meters. The owner of the house, 38, was detained for organizing a smuggling channel,» the statement says.

The security services of Kyrgyzstan are identifying people involved.
