Vladimir Putin leads in presidential election with 87.32 percent of votes

Vladimir Putin is leading in Russia’s presidential election with 87.32 percent of votes after 99.43 percent of ballots counted. TASS reported, citing the data published on the official website of the Central Election Commission of Russia.

In second place is the CPRF candidate Nikolai Kharitonov — 4.32 percent, in third place is the candidate of the New People party Vladislav Davankov — 3.79 percent, in fourth place is the LDPR candidate Leonid Slutsky — 3.19 percent.

The presidential election in Russia was held from March 15 to March 17.

Four polling stations were opened for Russian citizens in Kyrgyzstan: in Bishkek, Osh, Kant and Karakol.

Vladimir Putin won the 2018 presidential election with 76.69 percent of the votes.
