After rendering all necessary medical care, they were sent for outpatient treatment,» the media quoted the Almaty Health Department as saying.
Earlier it was reported that the epicenter was located on the border of China and Kyrgyzstan. Residents of Issyk-Kul, Naryn and Chui regions reported strong tremors. The earthquake was also felt by residents of Almaty (Kazakhstan).
Bishkek residents felt the tremors of magnitude 4-5. No casualties and destruction were reported.
