President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov approved changes to the Law on Fire Safety. The press service of the head of state reported.
The document was adopted by the Parliament on December 13, 2023.
The law provides for additional tasks of the authorized state body in the field of fire safety:
- Issuing upon application to individuals and legal entities, including conclusions on fires that have occurred;
- Testing and research of building materials, structures and protection objects in terms of fire hazard indicators;
- Licensing of activities in the field of fire safety;
- Exercising control and supervision over the execution of design documentation that has undergone fire-technical examination in accordance with the established procedure.
Changes have been made according to which compensation for damage in the event of death or injury of military personnel and employees of the authorized state body in the field of fire safety is paid in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan in the field of compulsory insurance.
The law comes into force ten days from the date of official publication.
