The General Director of 24.kg news agency, Asel Otorbaeva, was taken to the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan for questioning.
In addition to her, its Editor-in-Chiefs Anton Lymar and Makhinur Niyazova were taken for questioning. It is still not known why the search and interrogation are taking place.
The State Committee for National Security seized the equipment of the news agency.
The office of 24.kg news agency was searched today at approximately 11 a.m.
