New bus station opened in Bishkek

A new bus station has been opened in Bishkek. The press service of the City Hall reported.

The new bus station was organized at the intersection of the bypass road and Alma-Ata Street to relocate the Eastern bus station.

«Repair work has been completed, the bus station has been put into operation,» the City Hall noted.

The new bus station is served by minibuses that transport citizens to the regions.

«Route No. 587 (Bishkek — Issyk-Kul — Tyup) is already running, the taxis are also running (Bishkek — Jeti-Oguz),» the municipality reported.

For the convenience of passengers arriving from the regions, city minibus routes have been organized, which are serviced by the Bishkek Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise. From January 13, minibuses No. 211, 123, 104 and 285 will begin arriving at the new bus station.

The President Sadyr Japarov announced transfer of Osh market, Western and Eastern bus stations outside the city at the second People’s Kurultai.
