A Kyrgyzstani attacked a girl in a store in the southeast of Moscow and began to strangle her. The Investigative Committee reported on its Telegram channel.
«Information was received from social media that on January 6, a native of Kyrgyzstan attacked a previously unknown little girl in a store in the southeast of Moscow. «The investigative bodies of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow opened a criminal case on the fact,» the statement says.
The case was opened for attempted murder of a minor. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning eyewitnesses.
Later, a video of the incident appeared on Mash Telegram channel.
As RIA Novosti reports, citing a source in law enforcement agencies, the man, who arrived in Russia two weeks ago, grabbed the girl by the neck for no reason and began to strangle her. The defendant is in a psychiatric hospital, and it is possible that he was on drugs during the incident.
