The debt for medicines for El Aman state pharmacies amounted to 2 million soms. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, «there will be no debt to pharmaceutical companies» within 15 days.
«Banks will resume work on January 8-9, and we pay in full, there are 2 million soms left. We have money. Everything is open and transparent,» the official said.
He added that 55 state pharmacies have already been opened throughout the republic. The number of medicines items increased from 800 to 1,500.
There is information on the Internet that state pharmacies have been opened, but there is supposedly no money to pay off pharmaceutical companies.
