Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev held a retreat to improve the state of irrigation in Chui region. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
He got acquainted with the reconstruction of Agermen, Kara-Tuma, Makachi, Spartak, Nizhnyaya Ala-Archa, Ashmara reservoirs, the ten-day control pools Moltobar, Ak-Suu, Shorgo and Sovkhozny canal.
The relevant structures were instructed to quickly complete the restoration of six wells to fill reservoir No. 2.
Bakyt Torobaev noted that the president ordered to improve the country’s irrigation network. 2 billion soms will be allocated from the state budget for this.
