In connection with the New Year celebrations, Torugart-Avtodorozhny and Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed on January 1, 2024. The Information and Communications Department of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
The passage of persons, vehicles and cargo will resume on January 2.
The Border Service reminds that Torugart-Avtodorozhny and Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny checkpoints operate as usual on weekdays — from Monday to Friday. The passage of persons, vehicles and cargo through the checkpoints is suspended on Saturdays and Sundays.
