Security services revealed corruption in the State Agency for State Property Management and detained the deputy head of the agency, Kanat Ryskulov. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
Facts of abuse of official position were revealed, expressed in the conclusion of long-term lease agreements for state property on the agency’s balance sheet that are obviously unfavorable for the state.
«As part of the investigation into this fact, the deputy head of the agency was detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the SCNS. Appropriate investigative and operational measures are being carried out to identify other officials involved in this fact,» the statement says.
Kanat Ryskulov was appointed to the position in June, having previously served as Deputy Chairman of the State Property Management Fund.
