A student of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan school, Jan Bobrus, won a silver medal at the VI International Youth Olympiad. The Ministry of Education and Science reported.
The Olympiad was held in mathematics, physics and chemistry from December 24 to December 27 in Baku.
«Jan Bobrus scored 40 points out of 40 in mathematics, 10 points in physics, and 4 points in chemistry. Mamat Ishmatov, a mathematics teacher, prepared him for the Olympiad,» the Ministry of Education noted.
The Kyrgyzstan’s team included:
- Jan Bobrus, the 8th grade student of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan school, he scored 54 points;
- Zhasurbek Teshabaev, 10th grade student of Sapat International Educational Institution — 26 points;
- Isa Mamytov, 10th grade student of Sapat Municipal Educational Institution — 10 points.
Schoolchildren from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan also participated in the Olympiad.
