Unknown people tried to kidnap a girl for marriage in Bishkek. The suspects were detained, the press service of the Pervomaisky Department of Internal Affairs reported.
Police officers detained suspects in the kidnapping of a girl for the purpose of marriage without delay.
Earlier, the girl contacted law enforcement agencies. She stated that at the intersection of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue and Gorky Street, several guys forcibly put her in a car and took her away.
The investigative service opened a criminal case under Article 172 (kidnapping for the purpose of marriage) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspects have been identified. They were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
