Sadyr Japarov receives credentials from Ambassadors of nine countries

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received credentials from the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of nine foreign states accredited in the country. The press service of the head of state reported.

The following ambassadors presented their credentials:

  • Qatar — Ali Jaber Mohammed Al Ghufran Al Marri;
  • Turkmenistan — Nury Goliev with residence in Bishkek;
  • Ireland with residence in Moscow — Brian McElduff;
  • The Slovak Republic with residence in Astana — Robert Kirnag
  • Philippines with residence in the city of Islamabad — Maria Agnes M. Cervantes;
  • The Czech Republic with residence in Astana — Pavol Shepelak;
  • Lithuania with residence in Astana — Egidijus Navikas;
  • Apostolic Nuncio (Vatican) with residence in Astana — George Panamthundil;
  • Netherlands with residence in Astana — Nicolaas Jacob Schermers.

The President congratulated the diplomats on the official start of the mission in Kyrgyzstan and wished them success in further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

He noted the readiness to comprehensively deepen and expand bilateral cooperation, intensify political dialogue, expand tourism ties and establish effective work in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

Sadyr Japarov stressed that Kyrgyzstan adheres to an open and peaceful foreign policy.

Its main goal is to develop friendly and mutually beneficial partnerships with all countries of the world. He noted that the heads of foreign diplomatic missions play a key role in the development of bilateral relations and emphasized that he counts on the active work of ambassadors for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
