Former prime minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov commented on rumors about his possible return to politics. He posted on Facebook that he was not planning anything like that.
Omurbek Babanov decided to comment on the project he implemented on the construction of the building of Amanbaev rural administration in Aitmatov district, Talas region. He thanked the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, for participating in the opening ceremony of the facility and Sadyr Japarov for creating conditions for business, thanks to which entrepreneurs can do good things.
«I noticed that the project generated a lot of interest on social media... There were rumors about my possible return to civil service. But I would like to clearly state again: I closed my political career, and this is only a thing of the past. Politics for me has always been a means of helping people. I completely devoted myself to business, philanthropy, and through this I continue to help people. Therefore, I ask you not to connect any of my actions with politics,» the former prime minister wrote.
