Exchange rate of the U.S. dollar dropped by 30 tyiyns over the past two days in Kyrgyzstan.
Today, exchange offices in the capital and commercial banks buy the dollars for 88.7-89 soms and sell them for 89.5-89.65 soms. The official rate was set by the National Bank at 89.01 soms (0.12 percent drop).
Since the beginning of the week, the Russian ruble has strengthened its position. Now it is bought for 0.99-1 soms, sold — for 1.015-1.03 soms. Its nominal exchange rate is 1.0087 soms (0.84 percent growth).
The euro exchange rate remains relatively stable. It is bought for 96.6-96.8 soms, sold — for 97.6-97.8 soms. Its official exchange rate is 97.4303 soms (0.12 percent growth).
The Kazakh tenge is still bought for 0.1-0.135 soms, sold — for 0.199-0.2 soms. The nominal exchange rate was set at 0.1939 som (0.62 percent growth).
