Two new Rest Points opened in south of Kyrgyzstan

Two new Rest Points have been opened on Bishkek — Osh highway. Tourism Development Support Fund reported.

According to it, the rest points have been opened in Jalal-Abad and at the entrance to Kara-Kul.

«Rest Point is an opportunity for tourists and travelers to relax, get information, and charge their gadgets. Here you can drink coffee or tea, have a snack and take a shower. There are toilets, including for people with disabilities, and a room for social needs. There will also be charging stations for electric vehicles. Each Rest Point has a tourist interactive display containing all the information travelers need — about routes, attractions and interesting places nearby. The points will operate year-round. They have heating, hot water supply and sewerage,» the Fund said.

The first Rest Points were opened in Kemin at the turn to the bypass road to Issyk-Kul.

Three more Rest Points will be opened in the near future: two in the south — in Barpy and Uzgen, one in Issyk-Kul region, in Saruu village. All the rest points are located on popular and busy tourist routes and intercity highways.
