President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held talks with Norihiko Ishiguro, Chairman of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The press service of the head of state reported.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic sphere. Sadyr Japarov stressed that he pays personal attention to the issue of protection of foreign investors and guarantees protection of investments in Kyrgyzstan. He drew attention to one of the important areas of mutual cooperation — development of information technologies.
The Kyrgyz side is interested in attracting the experience and advanced technologies of Japan for improving the IT industry.
Norihiko Ishiguro stressed that Kyrgyzstan has a very great potential and the interest of Japanese companies in the country is growing. Therefore, it is necessary to fill the interest with concrete proposals of mutual interest.
