Kyrgyzstanis won 20 medals at the Combat Jiu-Jitsu World Championship, which ended in Daugavpils (Latvia). The International Jiu-Jitsu Federation reported on social media.
Kyrgyz athletes won ten gold, five silver and five bronze medals.
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyzstan’s team took the third overall team place. Athletes from the Republic of Kazakhstan took the first place, and Ukraine — the second place.
About 600 athletes from 29 countries took part in the championship.
