Kyrgyzstani takes 2nd place at Grand Slam Jiu-Jitsu Tournament in London

Kyrgyzstani Saparbek Akmatov took second place at the AJP Grand Slam Jiu-jitsu World Tour London — 2025. The athlete himself reported on social media.

In the «Masters» section in the category up to 85 kilograms (Gi), he lost to an opponent from Portugal in the final.

«This tournament was a real challenge. I had three intense bouts and gave it my all. I was just short of gold in the final, but this is not a defeat — it’s experience. We know what we need to work on, and the hunger is only growing,» he posted.
