Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with the activities of a number of medical institutions in Bishkek. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Akylbek Japarov visited the Scientific Center of Urology at the National Hospital. At least 80 million soms were allocated from the budget for the purchase of 24 units of medical equipment for it.
«This equipment should be useful around the clock, but it is necessary to timely provide spare parts in case of breakdown,» he said.
The head of the Cabinet also got acquainted with the work of the magnetic resonance imaging scanner at the National Hospital. The throughput capacity of the device, depending on the severity of the medical pathology, on average is 10-15 people per day. The equipment worth $1.145 million was provided at the expense of a World Bank grant.
