The President of Kyrgyzstan met with the head of Turkey as part of his working visit to Astana.
The leaders of the countries discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-Turkish bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, scientific, technical and other areas.
Sadyr Japarov congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the fraternal people on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic. He stressed that the strategic partnership between the two states is developing actively. Kyrgyzstan pays priority attention to deepening bilateral relations with Turkey in all areas of interaction.
The leader of Turkey expressed satisfaction with the progressive dynamics of development of bilateral relations, expressing readiness for their further deepening.
The parties noted the importance of holding the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. They agreed to continue active dialogue at the highest political level to deepen ties in all priority areas of partnership.
