An athlete from Kyrgyzstan Azat Bakirov won a bronze medal at the World Para Jiu-Jitsu Championship in the absolute category, which takes place in Abu Dhabi. The athlete himself announced on social media.
«Thanks to everyone who supported, everyone who helped in the preparation for the trip to the World Championship. Thanks to my coaches and the whole team. Thank you everyone, next time I will be stronger,» Azat Bakirov posted.
He also thanked the sponsors.
Azat Bakirov is the champion of Kyrgyzstan in grappling (2021) and medalist of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships (2022, 2023).
