The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) revealed the fact of illegal transfer of land plots located on the southern side of Botanical Garden (on Akhunbaev Street) to private ownership. The press center of the state committee reported.
It was found out that the former management of Bishkek branch of Cadastre and other authorized state bodies organized a corruption scheme to transfer into private ownership a land plot on the balance sheet of Kok-Zhar experimental base of the National Academy of Sciences with a total area of 0,244 hectares.
Despite the fact that the land plots are located inside the common fence of the Botanical Garden, a fictitious resolution of Bishkek City Hall was issued, which served as the basis for the subsequent illegal issuance of title documents.
The damage from the illegal provision of land plots amounted to more than 31 million soms.
Based on the collected materials, the former director of Bishkek branch of Cadastre state institution was detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the SCNS, as well as his deputy.
«Investigative measures continue to identify people involved in this crime and return illegally allocated land plots to the balance of the state,» the SCNS added.
