The State Material Reserves Fund purchased 20,100 tons of food wheat grain. The Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The quality of purchased grains is not lower than third class, gluten content is at least 23 percent. The purchase of wheat grain will continue.
Earlier Kyrgyzstan imposed a ban on the export of flour and wheat. The decision was made to ensure food security and stabilize market prices for food products.
