After the mass food poisoning in Bishkek, the capital’s Center of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance inspected 37 fast food outlets in two days. The center informed 24.kg news agency.
The specialists took samples for laboratory tests. A total of 36 reports of violations were drawn up, and the same number of decisions imposing fines were issued for a total of 568,000 soms.
Ten sanitary orders have been prepared to suspend the operation (closure) of the facility until the identified violations are eliminated.
The Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance said that victims from other fast food outlets also turned to the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital: Arbat, Halal Burger, KFS, Besh Lavash in Kok-Zhar microdistrict.
Recall, mass food poisoning was registered in fast food outlets «Besh Lavash» and «Midos», located at the intersection of Chui Avenue and Suyumbaev Street in Bishkek. The cause of the poisoning was shawarma.
The fast food outlets were fined 72,000 soms for detected violations and were closed until their elimination.
The Ministry of Health told 24.kg news agency that unscheduled inspections will be carried out at all fast food outlets. The number of victims has risen to 71 people.
