The number of victims of food poisoning at fast food outlets in Bishkek has risen to 71 people. The press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to it, 36 people were hospitalized, five of them are children aged from 10 to 14 years. Their condition is relatively satisfactory.
«As their condition improves, some of them will be discharged for outpatient treatment,» the ministry added.
Recall, mass food poisoning was registered in fast food outlets «Besh Lavash» and «Midos», located at the intersection of Chui Avenue and Suyumbaev Street in Bishkek. The cause of the poisoning was shawarma.
The fast food outlets were fined 72,000 soms for detected violations and were closed until their elimination.
The Ministry of Health told 24.kg news agency that unscheduled inspections will be carried out at all fast food outlets.
