Based on the results of January — August 2023, tax revenues from the operation of two casinos amounted to 46,350 million soms. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Over the past month, the treasury has been replenished with 14,850 million from this type of tax.
In addition, other 1.4 million soms were transferred to the treasury from the work of betting offices and sweepstakes, and 80,000 soms — from computer simulators of slot machines.
Thus, in just eight months of this year, the country’s budget was replenished by 47,830 million soms from gambling activities.
