The detention and arrest of the Bishkek City Court judge Nazgul Ilyazova is illegal. Lawyer Kaisyn Abakirov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the defense will appeal this decision.
«The applicant and judge Nazgul Iliyazova did not know each other. Accordingly, there can be no talk of extortion on the part of my client. Moreover, the security services did not find the marked money in the judge’s office. We will appeal the court’s decision,» Kaisyn Abakirov said.
Earlier it was reported that Nazgul Iliyazova, a judge of the Bishkek City Court’s board, was detained for extortion and taking money.
