Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov held talks with the World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic Naveed Hassan Naqvi.
The parties discussed the new partnership framework program of the World Bank for 2024-2028, agreements between the Kyrgyz Republic and the WB, development of the energy sector and the Digital CASA project.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the World Bank is a reliable partner of Kyrgyzstan in terms of affordable and flexible financing, technical and expert support, providing substantial support to the republic in all major areas of development.
In turn, Naveed Hassan Naqvi said that the World Bank was ready to finance major projects in Kyrgyzstan in the field of energy, clean water, irrigation and agriculture.
