Border guards of the checkpoint at the Osh airport prevented illegal export of gold jewelry worth 5 million soms. The press service of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
A passenger of Osh — Istanbul flight was detained. The woman tried to bring on board the plane gold jewelry weighing 848 grams without filling in declaration.
According to preliminary data, the jewelry’s value is more than 5 million soms.
The detained citizen and the gold jewelry were handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation.
