At least 673,515 million soms were allocated from the budget for the sphere of culture, art and sports at the instruction of the President Sadyr Japarov. Presidential press service reports.
Decree on urgent measures of state support for the sphere of culture, art and sports was signed, according to which the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to allocate these funds.
The money will be used to preserve and develop the historical and cultural heritage, develop professional art, strengthen the human resources, material and technical base of cultural and art organizations, and improve the regulatory legal framework for the cultural sector.
As the press service explained, the decisions were made due to an urgent need to solve the problems of state policy in the field of culture, take measures aimed at preserving cultural potential, ensuring constitutional guarantees of access to cultural values, adapting the sphere of culture to market conditions.
Salaries of workers of culture were increased by almost 100 percent in April 2022.
