Members of the youth team of Kyrgyzstan in Muay Thai won five bronze medals at the II Games of the CIS countries.
Jenishbek Parpy uulu (up to 50 kg), Raatbek Nurmamatov (up to 54 kg), Adilet Kalenderov (up to 57 kg) lost to their opponents in the fights for reaching the final.
Adilet Kalenderov and Raatbek Nurmamatov lost to the athletes from Uzbekistan, and Jenishbek Parpy uulu lost a fight with a Russian athlete.
Earlier, Almagul Zhorobekova and Ruslan Daniyar uulu took the third places.
The II Games of the CIS countries are held in Belarus from August 4 to August 14. About 2,200 athletes from 22 countries of the world take part in the Games. In total, sportsmen compete for 1,672 medals in 20 sports.
Kyrgyzstan is represented at the Games by about 200 athletes in 17 sports.
