President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the Law On Youth. Press service of the head of state reported.
The document was adopted by the Parliament on June 21, 2023. The purpose of the law is to determine the mechanisms for the formation of youth policy, as well as the involvement of young people in all spheres of state activity.
The law provides for the main areas of activity of the authorized state body in the field of youth policy, creation of equal conditions for the involvement of young people with disabilities and vulnerable groups of youth, interaction of state bodies and local governments in the formation and implementation of youth policy. Mechanisms for protection of their rights and legitimate interests, promotion of development of entrepreneurship and youth employment, and issues of financial support for state youth policy are spelled out.
