The building of Dubrovsky restaurant was transferred to the municipal ownership of Bishkek city. Press service of the City Hall reported.
Earlier, the commission for granting lease rights to land plots refused to extend the lease agreement with the restaurant owners.
«In connection with the need to expand the bus line, a decision was made to provide another land plot. Based on this decision, the owners of the restaurant were handed a notice by the land use control department to dismantle the existing building,» the City Hall said.
However, the tenant expressed a desire to transfer the property to municipal ownership. According to the agreement, the restaurant building with a total area of almost 500 square meters was handed over. Its estimated cost is 48.5 million soms. The previously leased land plot of 0.37 hectares was also returned.
«There are no claims from the tenant. At the request of the restaurant administration, the establishment will operate until August 7. Then the premises will be used for the purposes of the municipality,» the City Hall added and thanked the owners of Dubrovsky restaurant.
