A meeting of the city headquarters on preparation for the autumn-winter period was held in Osh city. Press service of the city administration reported.
The heads of Osh power distribution company, Teplosnabzhenie municipal enterprise, Osh Heating and Power Plant, Education Department, health care coordinator’s office, and specialized public utilities provided information on the ongoing work.
The preparation work is carried out within the approved schedule. At the same time, all municipal territorial administrations of Osh were instructed to intensify explanatory work with the population about the need to prepare multi-storey buildings for winter, as well as their internal utilities, basements, porches and roofs.
«It was especially noted that this year it is necessary to treat electricity consumption more carefully, in particular, use alternative energy sources (coal) for heating purposes. According to information from energy supplying enterprises, introduction of electricity consumption limits is possible during peak hours in the winter period,» the statement says.
