The President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the Law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts (to the laws on imposing a moratorium on the transfer (transformation) of irrigated arable land into other categories and types of land and on the transfer (transformation) of land plots). Press service of the head of state reported.
The document was adopted by the Parliament on June 15. It is designed to attract investment, develop transport infrastructure and increase the affordability of housing for citizens.
The law establishes a rule that the moratorium on land transformation does not apply to the transfer (transformation) of irrigated arable land into land allocated for the construction of an airport and the expansion of airport territories. Losses and lost profits of agricultural and forestry production are not compensated like in the implementation of state tasks determined by the Cabinet of Ministers in the field of construction of objects of national importance and as part of the implementation of the State Housing Program for the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
