Adylbek Kasymaliev participates in online meeting of EEC Council

First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev took part in a regular meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in online format. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

At least 19 issues were considered at the meeting. By decision of the EEC Council, the procedure for conducting pharmaceutical inspections for compliance with the GMP requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union was supplemented with a separate annex for performing inspections remotely.

This will ensure the continuity of pharmaceutical inspections and reduce the risk of restricting access to the drug market.

The Biological Drug Research Rules have been supplemented with new chapters on plasma-derived products, biotechnological drugs based on therapeutic proteins, and vaccines for the prevention of influenza and smallpox, as well as on reducing the risk of transmission of prion pathogens with these drug groups.

Based on the results of the meeting, Administrator of Trading System of the Wholesale Electricity Market JSC (Russia) was chosen as an organization that carries out centralized trading of electricity for the day ahead on the common energy market of the EAEU.

A list of uniform requirements has been approved that navigation seals used to track the movement of goods across the territories of two or more countries of the Eurasian Economic Union must comply with.

The production conditions for new commodity items of Appendix No. 1 to the rules for determining the country of origin of certain goods for public procurement were determined.

«Harmonization of production conditions for new commodity items significantly expands the opportunities for manufacturers of the Union countries to participate in public procurement, ensures the creation of new cooperative chains between manufacturers. It was decided to hold the next meeting of the EEC Council at the end of August 2023 in person in Moscow,» the statement says.
