At least 425 violations of migration legislation were detected in Kyrgyzstan for a week. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
From June 19 to June 25, the first stage of operational, preventive and search activities «Illegal Resident — Traffic» was held as part of the action plan of the CSTO member states to develop a collective system to counter illegal migration until 2025.
«In the course of the regional operation, the territorial divisions of the internal affairs bodies revealed 425 violations of the migration legislation of Kyrgyzstan. The amount of fines imposed for revealed violations of migration legislation reached more than 2,545 million soms,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
Violations of the rules for attracting and using foreign labor in the Kyrgyz Republic, rules for carrying out labor activities by labor migrants, established procedure of stay by foreign citizens, the rules for carrying out labor activities or transit travel, and others, were revealed. In addition, during the operation, other facts of illegal acts were also revealed, including illegal possession of weapons, illegal crossing of the state border, crimes of an extremist nature, and organization of illegal migration.
