The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan allowed commercial banks, exchange offices and microfinance organizations to take cash foreign currency out of the country. The resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was posted on the official website of the bank.
The statement says that the measure is temporary, it will be valid until September 15. At the same time, financial institutions are allowed to take out no more than 10 percent of their average daily volume of cash dollars.
«A commercial bank, after carrying out an operation on export of U.S. dollars in cash, must submit a report to the National Bank within two working days,» the document says.
Temporary restrictions on operations with foreign currency in cash in relation to commercial banks, exchange offices, microfinance and microcredit companies of the Kyrgyz Republic were imposed on March 11, 2022. They are suspended now.
