Russian government allocates additional quotas for education of Kyrgyzstanis

At the end of June, the Russian government allocated new additional quotas for education of citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Russian House in Bishkek reported.

They can start study as early as in September 2023. These are magistracy, postgraduate studies and advanced training (additional professional education).

In total, 1,000 places are offered for Kyrgyzstanis. Most of them have already been distributed.

Enrollment is announced for all specialties and areas, except for medical ones.

«This is the first time this has happened. In fact, this is a new chance and a new opportunity for those who did not apply in the spring and want to get a high-quality higher education at the next stage after a bachelor’s or a specialist’s degree. This is not about school graduates, but about those who have passed the first stage of higher education and plan to study further. The quota includes free education, a place in a hostel and a scholarship,» Albert Zulkhraneyev, head of Rossotrudnichestvo office in Kyrgyzstan, said.

Documents are submitted online until July 15.

Consultations will be held at the Russian House in Bishkek on July 4 and July 12 for those wishing to enroll in Russian universities.
