The business circles of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan intend to boost cooperation. Negotiations between entrepreneurs of the two countries were held in Ashgabat at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the International Broadcasting Center of Turkmenistan reported.
As a result, 36 Memorandums of Cooperation were signed in various areas of joint activities. Representatives of 57 companies involved in the textile industry, production of building materials, food industry, information technology, petrochemistry, transport and logistics discussed the prospects for development of economic relations, increasing the export opportunities of states and enhancing cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The parties noted the growth of mutual trade and the need to expand the product range and formats of interstate relations.
